Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DocForge AI (the "Service"), available at docforge-ai.example.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and DocForge AI (the "Operator", "we", "us", or "our"). Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

Description of Service

DocForge AI provides free, no-signup, web-based AI tools that generate professional documents in Markdown format. The Service currently includes:

  • Business Proposal Writer — investor-ready proposals, client pitches, grant proposals, RFP responses
  • SOP Generator — standard operating procedures, work instructions, process documentation
  • Job Description Generator — inclusive, EEO-compliant job postings

The Service is provided free of charge. We support the Service through advertising (Google AdSense) and do not charge users directly. You may generate an unlimited number of documents subject to the acceptable use rules below.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

No Warranty

The Service and all documents generated through it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for your use case. Large language models can produce plausible-sounding but factually wrong text. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any document generated by the Service before relying on it, sharing it, or using it in a professional, legal, financial, or commercial context.

We specifically disclaim any warranty that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Generated content will be accurate, complete, or fit for purpose
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or comply with your industry's regulations

You bear all risk associated with using generated content. We strongly recommend having qualified professionals (legal counsel, HR specialists, financial advisors) review any document you intend to use in a high-stakes context.

Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes the rights of others
  • Infringe intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or trade secrets of any party
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or overload the Service, its infrastructure, or the underlying AI model
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to abuse the Service or circumvent rate limits
  • Generate spam, phishing content, or material intended to deceive or defraud
  • Use the Service to build competing AI tools or to train other machine learning models without our prior written consent
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying models

We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or block access for any user who violates these rules or whose usage pattern threatens the stability of the Service.

Intellectual Property

You own the content you generate. The documents produced by the Service using your inputs belong to you. You may use, modify, distribute, publish, and commercialize them without attribution to us. We claim no ownership over your generated content.

However, because AI-generated content may incorporate patterns learned from training data, you should be aware that:

  • Generated text could occasionally resemble existing copyrighted material. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Some jurisdictions may not recognize AI-generated works as eligible for copyright protection. Consult a lawyer if you need clarity on ownership for a specific use case.

The Service itself — including the DocForge AI name, logo, website design, code, prompts, and other materials — is owned by the Operator and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Operator, its affiliates, or its service providers be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill
  • Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any generated content
  • Damages arising from your reliance on any generated document

Because the Service is provided free of charge, the Operator's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed USD $1.00 (one dollar).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or liability. We may also impose usage limits, change available tools, or update the underlying AI model without prior notice.

Because the Service is offered free of charge, we make no commitment to maintain any specific uptime, feature set, or level of performance. We will, however, use reasonable efforts to communicate major changes through the website or our blog.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Delaware, with the arbitrator's award being final and judgment enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You and the Operator waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
